Got a request from Ishi to buy a book as bday gift to one of her classmate. I first thought of “Book Sale” but dismiss the idea to buy a second hand book for a bday gift. And so I headed to expressions. I got a few savings on my allowance that day so I also decided to buy ishi a book too…little that I know, the promptings didn’t die because I will find these books that will be our legacy books (from Max Lucado) for little gurl.
1.God Thinks You’re Wonderful – I like the book for myself hehehe :). It’s a book you can probably carry along and in case you feel bad, discouraged, it only takes a few pages to realize again that God is fond of you, loves you, and cares for you!!! It’s my prayer that ishi will read this and live by these truth!!!
2.Just In case You Ever Wonder – Ah! This is a Daddy-Little Gurl bonding book. It’s a narration of a dad’s warm message of comfort and love for a very special person God sent him to take care of…
In our personal message written in both books, we desire that Ishi will know, love and obey Jesus and how thankful we were for having her as a daughter…Thank You Lord!

Got a treat from daddy for our 6th wedding anniversary (civil marriage) at Bags of Beans :) Ive always been curious about this resto at Tagaygay. Everytime we go to Batangas and passed by the place, street is jumpack, staff busy with assisting cars that will vacate the spot and a new car waiting. Thank you Lord for blessings us to enjoy breakfast at Bag of Beans....Mold our hearts to love each other more, to bear each other's weeknesses, to not give up forgiving one another just as you patiently do. Protect our love, build our family be honored always as we commit to grow in our relationship with you and with our relationship. In Jesus mighty name...Amen :)

Bought this shirt on last day of EN2010...super haba ng pila...everybody's mind that time is to have something to remember on what happened at SMX on July 22-24.

Love the cute pictures of different nations. I seldom wear this cause i want to preserve the print as much as possible...(noticed En2010 logo has some cracked na huhuhu). I got this idea to capture it in picture aha so here it is....

Philippines is my nation, Thailand is my inheritance, South Korea is my neighbor (literally), New Zealand, nation i want to visit so soon, India, they often guess that im from this nation (because of my eyebrows) US, was my nation for 5 weeks back in 2009....

I have linked this video so that everytime i visit my blog, i will always view that footprint of my EN2010 experience...Its amazing to see people from every language, color, race, different part of the earth come together to just celebrate God. We were scattered at MOA, each person wearing that EN2010 ID is a unique testimony of Gods love and faithfulness but represents only 1 God. I just felt being reminded again/commissioned again to let His light shine on before men...

Inno, Faith Goal Given

Lord, each year you truly amazed us. We give thanks this 2010, you gave us Inno, our first family car. We give all the credit to you. You chose to show faithfulness despite our inconsistent prayer night at the car port. You taught us to seek you earnestly during the last prayer and fasting week and build us in faith that a contrite heart you will not despise, that You our Heavenly Father who does not withdraw His only Son Jesus Christ, how much more being graciuos with all things? Thank you for giving us the desire of our heart.

Lord, Inno is big revelation of a God that You are, the God that hears prayer, the generous God from which all blessings flow. I remember surrending Ruel to you, acknowledging that its between you and Ruel. That i"ll just be an intercessor. when i had that doubt about you being in control, you lift my head up high to you. Thank you. You held daddy's heart in your hands...its a joy to see that he experienced what a Dad you are.

Father, we ask that You continue to mold us to be a good steward of your blessing, may we joyfully share it with our family, friends, and church. We declare that all people who will ride with us will equally received your blessing, will feel your presence, acknowledge Your goodness, and security over your protection.

Lord, we claim that as you give wealth, there's no trouble into it...that Inno will not be a burden to us...but a continuous blessings. It will be your deployed angels who will safe guard us and Inno. By standers will take a second look as Inno passed by..."something is different in this car?!" Yes there is, yes it is, because its from the Lord.

Ishi At Camp

Before going to my California trip, i grabbed the chance to go with ishi on her second week at school. I experienced the whole rush of dragging a toddler to school... wheew!!!

When the service arrived, off we go...ishi immediately tell the driver "may mommy ako"...it warms my heart to hear that this is a big issue to her.

At school, she consistently points me out to classmate arriving late than her..."may mommy ako" but this time its a pain to realize that my daughter needed me but i couldnt be present because of work. I remember missing her first day in Wizbee, she clung to her daddy in fear/apprehension in joining kids at school. My spirit was heavy all along that fateful day. What a struggle for working moms like me???!!!

I know I know this an overdue post...
Nevertheless, the gratitude never fades for God's faithfulness...
Here's our prayer of thanks for God from whom all blessings flows:

Father in heaven, your glory appears in this place, though the universe cannot contain you, you appoint this place to show your faithfulness and your goodness.
We give thanks as we remember how you paved this day according to your pleasing and perfect plan...today we moved in to your blessing.

3 years we've share homes with other families...you touched their hearts to care for us. Thank you Lord for we found extension of our own families in them... Bless them Lord...Greatly reward them.

In your hands our days our numbered...In your time, you prepared us for this blessing; even made things in the past helpful for this future, placed people in our life who would give us favors. Truly Lord for ways are higher than our ways. We commend you for guiding us until we come in aggreement to your plan.

Lord, we our like Israeilites that journeyed out of the Egypt to the Promised Land, from day 1 you never failed to give us your provision. When we waver in faith, you answered us in your greatness to build us in faith. You are our portion, in You we will never lack.

Today Lord, we magnify your greatness, speak highly of your faithfulness, may praises abound because our home is a testimony of what a God we serve. People will see your goodness. All the credit is yours, all the glory and honor is yours forever and ever. In Jesus name we pray, AMEN.

Coco Beach

Yes we had a vacation!!! Actually it was the "utang" honeymon. (Because of the demand of going instantly back to work and the big baby ishi surprise and all is history)…here it is… May 5-7 Coco Beach Puerto galera, Oriental Mindoro…
May 5- Our feet rested on Manila hotel as early as 6am..talk about being excited hehehe..45 mins ahead of the pick up time..we decided to hurried off the coffee shop for breakfast.
6:45 balik lobby na kami. Few minutes passed then came 2 tourist bus. We thought guest who would attend a scheduled convention sa hotel, until the hotel staff announced.."Coco Beach?!!"
Fortunately, we did not encounter heavy traffic at ssh, but teka why the detour on Balagtas, di ba we’re heading the Batangas port? Kaya pala, Coco Beach has it’s own port at Tabangao.
To ride in a big banca was another first for me. Waahh..nahilo ako pag akyat pa lang… Guess fear of water will always creep on those who don’t know how to swim like me. The sight, God’s promises and the anticipation of what’s in the end of our sea journey made an enjoyable banca ride. Hehehe si Ruel pala ang di nag-enjoy, I made him nervous pala with me frequently asking if "malakas na ba ang alon?". He thought I was freaking out. Bwahahaha….
From a distance, images of nipa hut on mountain appeared.. Everyone became thrilled!! Yahoo lapit na kami…
11:30 am Coco Beach Express crew reached for our hands to assist us as we rode off the banca, resort staff then lead us to Carabao Restaurant for registration. On our way, we were greated with:
"We welcome you to the Coco Beach place, a very nice place the Coco Beach Place.." As promised, they supplied us with a welcome drink plus a garland made out of shell…hay feeling expat…hehehehe..
After satisfying our complaining stomach, we were led to our room. 90% of the room are nature’s room, made of nipa hut, no aircon, just e-fans with wide windows for ventilation, no tv..on noh? No tv? Looks like we’ll miss PBB for 2 nights, not to mention (ruel, a boxing fanatic in panic mode) the dela joya and mayweather fight.
After a 2 hour nap, we’re in our swimming pieces to try the beach. The white sand is beautiful, clear water but daming algae…they exist abundantly sa hapon kaya pala foreigners are using the pool.
And so we tried the silent pool. You have to take mga 30 steps up to reach the silent pool. Halfway, we noticed the gym equipments, cool, sarap siguro mag exercise with the sea as the view. So nice and silent pool, there’s a jacuzzi, a bar, beds are around if you want to read lang. We stayed up to closing. Just enough time to prepare for dinner.
Best about dinner at Coco Beach is the ambiance. Incandescent lamps around sets the romantic mood and fresh air that your lungs would want to contain forever. Luckily our first night is bound to be enjoyed as a party night because of the GM’s bday celebration. Another pleasant thing about the resort is the good relationship of the management with their employees. The fact that the party is for Coco Beach staff. Am I assessing too soon? Hehehe…Guess the free cocktail drinks they prepared for us is a big deal for me. After a few drinks and sounds..hay tipsy na ako…di na namin natapos yung disco part, sobrang lakas tama na ako…..
Awaken by the endless chirping of birds is such a delightful way to start day 2, may 6. Nature indeed is a lavish expression of God’s love. Time to devour the breakfast buffet….hehehehe!!!
It’s a filipino menu but still we enjoy breakfast kahit na usual…I supposed its more on we don’t have to hurry going to office kaya pleasurable ang breakfast…Much okay to swim in the morning, malayo ang mga algae sa seashore…however late na rin pala ang 8am…may risk na ng sunburn kaya we took pictures na lang.
We spent the whole morning separately. Ruel requested to occupy the bar not to miss the dela joya and mayweather fight while I stayed on the poll area and go over the last few chapters of my book "The Bondage Breaker" Pati list of reference nabasa ko na but di pa start ang main fight. Well if you can’t beat the boxing fan, join him. Pitiful to watch dela joya accept mayweather’s strong punches, but in fairness, guwapo pa rin c golden boy. Bad mood kami when mayweather was declared as the winner…Our frustration was drag to late lunch. Hehehe such an excuse to excesive eating…Before we took a nap, we made an itinerary so we can maximize our remaining day at Coco Beach.
3pm came first on our list is a short leisure walk to locate the different amenities of Coco Beach and of course document our stay with our cam. Were able to track down the hanging bridge, tennis court, encountered villagers working at the Coco Beach Factory, water treatment plant and day care center. We realized, Coco Beach is more on a community, opening their lives/accommodating guest everyday. This explained the service family (yes family) guest can always ask for assistance like housekeeping and etc.
Opps 4 pm time to avail the Buy 1 Free 1 cocktail at the silent pool. Ruel and I loved this place…di kc sya crowded like the 3 big pools near the beach. You can really relaxed like a scottish reading a book and sipping his drink when we arrived. Life is perfect for a few minutes, sipping our tall glasses while on a jacuzzi. But with a low tolerance to alcohol…ngek di ko man lang nakalahati ang drinks ko. Before the bartender left, he advised that we could stay up to 7 pm. Time for dinner! Something to look forward because of the in-house group who’s doing table hopping to serenade the guest. I requested a happy song and they gave a wonderful production number with the song "Build me Up, Buttercup".. We stayed at the seashore for a little while to savour the calm environment of the night…hay uwi na kami tomorrow…but hey we still have a few hours left and we want to make "sulit’ the sea kaya we decided to be early on bed to be early din sa sea tomorrow.
May 7 , 6 am rise and shine….its time for the sea episode! Perfect, we were one of the early guests on the sea. Since pareho kaming hindi marunong lumangoy, super pretend in swimming ng nakaupo hehehe…Enjoy talaga! Sun is just peeping so perfect to enjoy swimming..enough not to shiver of cold sea water…and syempre.. perfect also for picture taking. Feeling ko highlight ni Ruel ang moment na to so I let him and become busy with finding interesting shells I can show Ishi back in Manila..
Our last breakfast was Western Menu..because it’s the last free meal..we over indulged..hehehe The rest of the morning was spent packing, and checking (to the nth time) if we missed anything. We calculated our time, forecasting a 3-4 hrs travel, we decided to have our lunch before we take our banca ride. I requested for the ginataang shrimp but their expected delivery did not arrive, well sinigang tanguige was just fine for a replacement.
Little sad to leave and end our great time in Coco Beach, but as the saying goes "some good things never last", but our excitement to see our little girl surface. I enjoyed the banca ride pauwi. One last look at the endless sea…From Tabangao they provided a van to transfer us back to manila.. More convenient and reduce transpo time that shorten our excitement to embrace and kiss Ishi again. Welcome home!

Dengue Alert

We thank the Lord for His faithfulness in answering our daily prayer.."protect our girl from harm and sickness.."

Last week we were alerted on Ishi's 2 day persistent fever that does not go down inspite introducing paracetamol and even ibupropen. Sunday am, temperature still at 39.8 we rushed restless ishi to nearby hospital in dasma. Doctor said that shots of medicine given were underdose, reason why fever still persist. Since it is a little bit early to relate it to dengue, we were dispatched at ER after ishi's temp normalize with the right dose of ibupropen and doctor's advice to still look for sign like sickly looking baby, high fever and rashes.

Day 3, 3 intake of ibupropen stabilize ishi's condition. Our girl manage to play when awake but she did spend most of her time sleeping...a big relief for us...it is indeed a viral infection like she had last july.

We woke up tuesday am with ishi crying...hot baby again...we were surprised...we thought ishi is alright already...

Ruel and I decided to consult with ishi's pedia in paranaque...where this clipped picture happened...

Ishi is perfectly at her old self again...We praise God that even though signs of dengue like rashes appeared after the first cbc, fever totally disappear on the fourth day ruling out Dengue.

God is indeed a faithful God...

Wonder Ishi

Its not ishi’s first time to attend a first birthday party like Basti had last March 17. But in a costume? Oh yeah it is…. Without much thinking, I just pulled off Wonder Woman piece in the rack of Toy Kingdom in MOA yun lang kc ang available…hahahaha…..

After seeing Ishi’s excitement in putting wonder woman costume, perhaps because of our boliks (ganda beibi)…thought na “sulit” even if once nya lang magamit…..

On our arrival, our relatives (also invited) were surprised to see a “Wonder Ishi”.

Because “F” ni Ishi ang costume, she dance, run and enjoyed the whole party especially when Jollibee arrived….2nd time to see Jollibee but amazed pa rin sya gusto ngang magpakarga kay Jollibee.

Carousel Ride

All mommy loves to document the first…….here’s another ishi's first……ride on the carousel…..btw….naunahan pa sa experience c daddy :-)

Hesitant kami ni ruel coz we’ve seen big kids crying at the half of the ride….worried ishi might throw a tantrum…

To measure her enthusiasm we asked her and her answer is: pointing and saying “dig dig” (although she can say “orse” mas prefer nya pa rin ang “dig..dig”)

Ishi finished the ride….waved her hand to daddy and to everybody when told, if asked “good?”….held thumbs up!!!!
